UBUNTU - I Am Because We Are

UBUNTU is a gathering of college students and young adults who want to live in community with each other and the world.

We worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

We gather as friends for fun, discussion, service, and Bible study (and sometimes all four at once!).

We serve God and neighbor with the church community and as a group.

We welcome all people, regardless of sexuality, race, or background.

“Following Jesus" NEW Small Group Study

The young adult ministry is inviting adults of all ages for a 5 week study of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.  We will explore what Jesus and his followers did, as recorded in the Gospels and Acts, and how this might apply to us today, personally.  What does following Jesus mean for you?  What next steps will you take to engage in this journey?

We’re meeting each Tuesday evening, May 2nd-30th from 7PM-8PM at Fork & Stix (NEW LOCATION). We’ll use materials from Saving Jesus From the Church, by Robin R. Meyers; Always We Begin Again, by John McQuiston III, and Discipleship Path materials developed recently by the Discipleship Team at UUMC.

Contact Tom Mitchell or Joey Guenther for more information and to sign-up.
